Aaliyah Haughton was famous after 1994 when she debuted her debut album Age isn't just the number. At the age of 15 the album was awarded Gold status. This collaboration, heavily influenced R. Kelly's music and put her in the limelight. In 1996, she collaborated with Jermaine Dpri and Timbaland for her album, One In A Million, which featured the #1 hit track If Your Girl Only knew. Aaliyah became a well-known R&B singer after the album's release. In 2000 she appeared in Romeo Must Die, a action/romance film starring Jet-Li. The role was offered to her when she was spotted by film producer Joel Silver at an awards event. Queen of the Damned was her first film role in 2002. It's based on an Anne Rice novel. The year 2003 saw her was on screen in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. In 2001, 1999 2002 and 2003, she was nominated to win four Grammy awards. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. Aarti Mann is an Indian American of the first generation born in Connecticut. The stage name Mann comes from her married name Mankad. Aarti is a combination of Aarti Majumdar and Aarti Munn for her professional names. Her acting career started in the the mid 2000's, with a few parts in movies and TV. Other than The Big Bang Theory her most notable work includes Leverage (2012) Suits (2013) and Grey's Anatomy (2017). In addition, she has appeared in commercials of major companies like the international auto manufacturer Volvo. The actress lives with her family in Los Angeles with her husband as well as her daughter, and continues to pursue her acting career.
